BODY SHOP ESTIMATOR
We are looking for a talented, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our growing team as a Body Shop Estimator. This is a hands-on position working with Medium and Heavy-Duty Truck repairs in a fast-paced environment with high expectations where you are rewarded for doing exceptional work. Commission available for this position.
This position is responsible for the following:
- Provide excellent customer service to all current and potential customers
- Educate customers in the collision repair processes
- Prepare all estimates in an accurate and efficient manner
- Communicate with insurance representatives
- Track the repair status of customer vehicles
- Oversee parts orders
- Be the liaison between the customer and body technician
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Self-motivated with a great attitude
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral
- Detail oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Consistently develop and implement improved processes
- Provide timely feedback to all members within the organization as well as external vendors and customers
- Provide hands on support to team members
- Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Excel
- Three to Five years related experience and/or training in the
estimating/Trucking/Body shop industry - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
