They are responsible for managing existing accounts and contacting prospective businesses to facilitate growth in Jackson, MS and the surrounding area.
The Lease Sales Executive – Western Region will be responsible for the following:
- Create target lists within assigned territory and aggressively pursue prospects.
- Develop and present sales proposals to new and existing customers for all product lines (e.g., rental, full-service lease, contract maintenance, etc.).
- Responsible for contacting new prospects via email programs, telemarketing, networking, and cold calls.
- Responsible for the establishment and growth of new lease sales in their assigned territory.
- Develop recommendations regarding fleet size and mix.
- Meet annual sales quotas and participate in ongoing sales and customer activities.
- Accept ongoing responsibility for customer service to his/her customers.
- Help provide rental analysis of market.
- Submit required reports to the VP of Leasing & Rentals.
- Extensive local travel required.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in truck rental and full-service leasing sales.
- Familiar with heavy duty truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold call solicitation.
- Resourceful and results oriented.
- Understands administrative and service features of Full Service Lease.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
- Must have strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when needed.
