This is a position that requires general clerical experience, including operating a multiline phone system, filing, and experience working in a busy office environment. The individual who fills this role will need to wear many hats and thrive in an office environment that is fast paced and full of multitasking. A successful person in this role flourishes on providing support to others. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible, willing to change plans on the go, and maintain and share a positive attitude throughout the day. The schedule for the position will vary from Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m.-2:00p.m. or Monday through Friday,10:00a.m.-3:00p.m. There will be an occasional shift on Saturday from 6:00a.m.-2:00p.m., on an as needed basis. Additional hours may be required on occasion. Generally, this role will need to:
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Skillfully handling a multi-line phone and assisting customers with cashiering
- Efficiently assisting department managers with various processes, to include processing paperwork for new vendors and new customers
- Accurately managing cash, check, credit card, and fleet sales transactions
- Assisting other team members in as many ways as possible
- Completing other accounting duties as needed
