As Katrina Wolford, corporate human resources assistant and training coordinator, celebrates her 25th anniversary with Truckworx on Dec. 20, her coworkers shared a few thoughts about what Katrina means to not only the human resources department, but also to everyone at Truckworx.

“Katrina is that once-or-twice in a career employee. She cares, not just about the work, but about her fellow humans. She is deeply intuitive about people. We often say she has a weird sixth sense about people. During my nearly 20 years of working with her, she has cared for me professionally and personally. She just gets things done. I hand it to her and it is finished. Personally, she has been with me through some of my most difficult days and has kept my feet firmly planted on the ground. She has encouraged me, prayed with me, counseled me, told me the truth even when it did not feel good to hear and been a true friend and colleague. I respect her immensely and I am so thankful for the privilege of knowing her.”

“Katrina has a wealth of Truckworx knowledge after working in various departments throughout her 25 years of service. If a question pops up, I go to her because she either knows the answer or knows exactly where to find it! Katrina is creative, resourceful, and has a spectacular eye for detail. In the five years I have had the privilege of working with her so far, she has been a great teacher, encourager and friend to me.”

She is a go-getter and will not stop until it’s done. She is also my sister, so I can vouch for this my whole entire life. She has a heart of gold, so not only is she willing to help all of us at work, but also when we have a need in our personal lives. Her husband is a pastor and she doesn’t take being a pastor’s wife lightly. She loves to do work for the Lord and it’s evident in her life that she is here to do His work. When my husband, and her brother-in-law, passed away from COVID-19 in January of this year, I didn’t even have to wonder if she would be there for me. She felt my pain and that is the sister, friend and coworker that everyone needs. We are blessed to have her working for Truckworx. Katrina is a special person you can’t help but love.”
