The Finance and Billing Assistant processes sales deals. This position is responsible for verifying costs, including the costs of reconditioning and equipment add-ons, for the Accounting department and for preparing legal transfer documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare tax and title documents
- Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV
- Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
- Post vehicle sales and purchases
- Report new sales to the manufacturers
- Register extended service policy contracts
- Prepare trade-in vehicle folders
- Ensure that name and address files are updated on an ongoing basis
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree in a related field preferred or comparable experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- IT skills- experience with data analysis a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in title work preferred
