The Leasing & Rental Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination with customers, vendor services, and well as working with the internal team to ensure satisfactory operations and customer experience.
The Leasing & Rental Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Generating lease and rental contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction at the time of rental pick-up and drop-off.
- Responsible for contacting both customers and vendors to schedule regular maintenance services. In addition, this position is responsible for following up with both parties to ensure additional repairs are communicated and performed.
- Responsible for keeping inventory of current assets at not only the Birmingham location but including outlying rental and leasing locations.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining a database of accurate and up to date insurance certificates for both rental and lease customers.
- Develop a sales acumen by routinely reaching out to a current customer base as well as follow ups with warm and cold prospects through in person meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Ensure accurate fuel reporting is completed, as per federal and state law.
- Accept ongoing responsibility for customer service to his/her customers.
- Other duties as assigned
- Occasional travel required
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 1-5 years of related experience in truck rental and full-service leasing
- Comfortable with cold call solicitation
- Resourceful and results oriented
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and strong analytical skills are a must
- Familiar with heavy truck specifications including legal, performance, and application criteria
- Understands administrative and service features of Full-Service Lease
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious and a team player
- Must have strong work ethic and commitment to extra hours when needed
