Truckworx is excited to announce our Birmingham location has a new Branch Manager, Lane Bearden! Lane has worked for Truckworx for 8 years and has experience in multiple positions across the parts, service and sales departments. He first started in an Outside Sales position in Birmingham, and quickly was promoted to Birmingham’s Assistant Parts Manager. In May of 2013, he moved to Mobile, AL after he was asked to become that dealership’s Branch Manager. When the Birmingham Service Manager position became available in January of 2016, in an effort to get back close to his hometown of Pelham, AL, Lane and his family returned to Birmingham. He has since been instrumental in increasing efficiency and growing business in our largest location’s service department. After four years in that role, Lane has recently accepted the position as Birmingham’s first Branch Manager! Will Bruser, Truckworx President, says, “Lane has exceptional management experience on the parts, service, and branch manager level. He also has a passion for our business, a passion for our customer experience, and a passion for his employees and I am confident he will take our Birmingham location to the next level!” Lane says in his new role he is most excited about being able to have involvement in service, parts, and sales, and he aims to provide a Truckworx customer experience that will truly set us apart from the competition in Birmingham. Lane is a graduate of The University of Alabama’s business school, and he also played football for the university for 5 years. In his time on the team, he was voted Captain by the other players. He also won an SEC Championship, was Special Teams Player of the Year 2 years in a row, and received 3 Heisman votes his senior year! Lane and his wife of 13 years, Jessie, now live in Helena, AL, just south of Birmingham, and have 3 kids: Cooper (7), Jozie (5), and Piper (3).
